Silent Grace
The daisies bow
to their Mother, drinking
in the sweet taste of her, wet
from Heaven’s rains.
I stand in humble awe
as this picture paints before me–
how does one describe the kind of beauty
that pours into every cell
as eyes melt with the simple act of seeing?
The daisies know that words are not enough–
they bend in Silent Grace;
and I bow, too…my eyes liquid rain, my heart
a fiery kiss of sun
as mind at last surrenders, flattened
into the arms of the Beloved.
