Some days it’s challenging to stay calm when there is so much political unrest and uncertainty in just about every area of life. For highly sensitive humans, these warring, unrestful days can be exhausting.

What can you do?
Rest in Love.

(And perhaps let the bees inspire you…)

Life is complex.
Countries warring,
Environments warming,
Thoughts of despair s’warming…

And then there are the bees.
(Thankfully, still here.)

They swarm the lavender, singing
as they pollinate.

I am enthralled by them, watching
as I water, weed, and wonder
about the state of the world.

My mind wanders: thoughts of people warring,
not just countries…even friends,
for people are complex, too.

Differing beliefs can lead to conflict.
Yet diversity is good, for this
is how we grow.

Flowers grow, too. They bloom
regardless of bombs and cloudy skies, petals
falling as compost for the earth if we leave them be.

And don’t we need all of these,
for what would life be without flowers and bees
and compostable moments?

What would life be, without the being?

These are my thoughts as I water and weed,
and wonder how I might play a bigger part, give
something greater to this life I am
so blessed to be living.

This life, where bees and butterflies pollinate,
where flowers bloom, where every day
there is something that brings me to my knees, sighing…

Yes, God. Yes, God. Yes, God.

Not only as a prayer of thanks,
but as an offering.

I am here. I will keep showing up,
watering these dreams, weeding the mind’s chatter,
opening eyes to the wonder, and to the need,
because both are always here.

Yes, God. I am listening.
Yes, God. I am ready to serve.

The inner buzzing quiets, as I open to a
Greater Way of Being…

I heed the call to plant a few seeds of inspiration,
to write these words, to help a friend in need,
to show up fully and with courage

to Be Real in this often noisy,
not-so-simple life.

🌱 Today, pause and notice one small thing that is blooming in your life—
a flower, a child’s laugh, an act of kindness, a vision for change.

Linger with it for awhile. Thank it.
Let it remind you of the simple joy and quiet beauty that is here.

🐝 Let the bees inspire you: drop a note of appreciation in your neighbor’s mailbox,
or leave it with a flower on their doorstep.

Seeds of Inspiration grow when they are shared.

What other ideas for pollinating positivity can you imagine?
I invite you to share…
